Obituary
Susan M. Thomas (Fowler) 68, of Norwich, CT passed away unexpectedly on December 8th.
Susan was born in New London, CT. September 29, 1953 to Paul Thomas and Alice (Sloan) Morse.
Susan had a profound love of travel and to see the world. She loved hiking, camping, fishing and splitting wood with her best friend and love of her life Tim. She also enjoyed being a member of the Moose Lodge with Tim and all of their good friends. Her charisma, generosity, humor, and love will be deeply missed by many.
Susan was predeceased by her mother and father. She is survived by her life partner Timothy Fowler and his family. Her son Rick Swanson, his wife and 3 children. Her daughter and son in law Tammie and Charlie Blakeley. Grandson and Fiance Connor Blakeley and Lauren Peltier. Soon to be Great Grandson Robert Blakeley. As well as the amazing family of friends she has made over the years with Tim.
The family would like to request donations be made in her honor to the New England Donor Services.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held Sunday January 8th at the Bozrah Moose Lodge, 115 Fitchville Rd. Bozrah, CT 06334 from 2 -6 PM.
