Stephen Edward Brown passed suddenly at Hartford Hospital on February 24, 2023.
He was born July 7, 1968 in Norwich the son of the late Eugene Irving and Nadine Louise (Rhone) Brown.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Dena. The two were married in a private ceremony on February 21, 2021.
Stephen is also survived by a daughter and granddaughter Zoe of Norwich, stepchildren Tim, Kaitlyn, Megan and Allison (who referred to him as Steveo-Brevo).
Stephen “Doc” adored being a husband, father and grandfather. He was retired as a state employee at York Correction Facility where he was an LPN. He has received multiple awards for excellence in his tenure. Stephen was loved by many coworkers who eventually became family. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and stepchildren and grandchild. He was an avid motorcyclist who loved riding his Harley.
Services will be conducted privately through his wife Dena.
