Norwich – Santo Thomas Rizzuto, 71, passed away Saturday April 4, 2026 at the St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven.

He was born August 9, 1954 in Norwich the son of William and Barbara (Pappas) Rizzuto.

Santo was the owner of Hilltop Restaurant for many years and then worked for over 30 years at the Leader Store in Norwich.

He was predeceased by his son Matthew Rizzuto and his parents.

Santo is survived by his wife Judith (Plante) Rizzuto, daughter-in-law Sheila Rizzuto, grandson Vincent Rizzuto, brother William Rizzuto Jr. (Diane) and several cousins, nieces, aunt (Diana Tennant) and uncle Thomas Pappas (Joan).

Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
