Robert Preston Obituary

Robert L. Preston, 78, of Norwich passed away September 5, 2021 and has returned to his Lord and Savior.

He was born April 17, 1943 in Warwick, MA the son of Charles and Martha (Eshbrough) Preston.

Robert was married for over forty years to Marilyn (Beck) Preston. He worked at Electric Boat for thirty-four years as a Pipe Fitter and after retirement worked for Wal-Mart as a Customer Service representative in the Hardware department for fifteen years.

He was predeceased by his daughter Debra Day.

Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn, two sons Scott Preston and his wife Alice, Howard Preston, stepdaughter Sandra Poole, sister Dorothy Pool, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
