Michelle Ann Dorantes

In loving memory of Michelle, whose sweet soul was born of March 6,1984.  She touched so may hearts with her beautiful spirit, and left us too soon on April 21, 2020.  Her family and friends will remember her for her loving, charismatic and charming persona. 

She leaves behind her two children, Leah Rae and Bowen Daniel Daugherty, her mother Mary Mulcahy Dorantes, her father Jeffrey Dorantes, and her grandmother Evon Mulcahy, She also left her siblings Michael Dorantes and Amanda Bazinet and many other family and friends who loved her.

As a child she was involved in many activities including Brownies, Girl Scouts and a varied amount of sports.  Her athletic abilities aided her youth soccer team to the championship game where they won. Throughout the entire season they remained undefeated with NO goals scored.  She attended Norwich Free Academy where she explored her love of music playing clarinet in the Marching Band.  They claimed 1st place nationally at the USSBA 4 Open Championships with their outstanding performance at Giant Stadium in 1998. As a young adult, she was an amazing mother whose children were first and foremost in her life. Her love and nurturing built the foundation for her children that continues to guide them through their life. 

She loved music and being outdoors with friends and family, whether is was camping, hiking, swimming or just enjoying each others company.  The memory of her bright smile, quick wit, and sunny disposition will never be forgotten.  Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of her absence.
