MaryAnne B. Euell departed this life to be at rest with the Lord on Saturday July 15, 2023. She was born December 2, 1938 to the late William H. Brainard Jr. of Manchester, Connecticut and Minnie Elizabeth Freeman Brainard of Vernon, Connecticut.
MaryAnne graduated from Manchester High School. She is the widow of Thomas F. Euell Sr. She was predeceased by her brothers John Brainard, William Brainard, Edgar Brainard and Harold Brainard as well as her predeceased sisters Martha Storey and Minnie DeBarros. Her remaining siblings are Arthur Brainard, Emma Camby, Druscilla Williams and Roxanne Baker. Her children are Mark Campbell, Leeann Sheff (Claude Sheff), Roxann Potter (Don Potter), Dwayne Campbell, brother Chuck and Thomas Euell Jr., Randi Euell. Mary Anne has 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nephews and nieces as well as a host of friends including her church family.
MaryAnne was an avid member of the Norwich Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a deaconess as well as being active in the Community service for many years. She was also the Queen Mother of the Red Hats and held many positions in the Ladies Auxiliary. She was an aquatic instructor for more than 20 years and loved to travel. She went on many cruises (only 25) and one of her many hobbies was photography.
Everyone who knew her, loved and cherished her because she was all heart and at times very silly. She wouldn’t want us to grieve for her but to remember the special times we all shared with her.
Her final message to everyone is to trust in God, honor and obey HIM.
A memorial service will be Tuesday August 8, 2023 at 11 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 400 Harland Road Norwich, Connecticut.
