Norwich – Kerry Joseph Shaughnessy, 59, of Norwich passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at the W.W. Backus Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1962 in Norwich son of James William and Margaret Ann (Altschul) Shaughnessy.

Kerry was last employed as a residential assistant for Reliance House. He was an avid bike rider and sports fan. He often enjoyed college football and basketball as well as NFA’s sports teams.

He was predeceased by his parents and his nephew Jamie Allen Shaughnessy.

Kerry is survived by his siblings Karen Twomey (John), Kevin Shaughnessy (Famatta) and Kelly Raab ( Steve).

He loved catching up with his nieces and nephews , Kaitlin Clabbers and Brianna Streeter and Patrick Twomey, Bryan Twomey, Matthew Shaughnessy and Alex Raab. They all hold very special memories of times spent with Uncle Kerry. He leaves behind six great nieces and nephews.
