Janet Louise (Barclay) Jakubielski

Janet (Barclay) Jakubielski, 88, wife of John Jakubielski of Norwich, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 in Norwich, CT. She was born September 24, 1934 in Fort Fairfield, Maine to Garnett and Annie (LaPointe) Barclay, the second oldest of 12 siblings.

Janet is survived by her husband; John, her 5 younger siblings; Patricia, Eleanor, Lavina, Carolyn, and Randy, and 4 sons, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Theresa, brothers Ralph, Gilbert, Arnold, and Ronald, and sisters Barbara and Joanne.

A calling hour will be Saturday March 18, 2023 from 9 to 10 AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff St., Norwich, CT with a service at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Norwich, CT.
