Norwich – Gloria J. Kirchner, 71, of Norwich died Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 19, 1947 in Norwich, CT the daughter of Theodore and Irene (Srednicki) Szarzynski.

For many years she worked and owned Gloria’s Beauty Shop as a hairdresser.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Donald Kirchner.

Gloria is survived by her step daughter Alissa Sievers (Tony), two brothers Theodore Szarzynski (Karen) and John Szarzynski (Kathleen), two grandchildren Caitlyn Sievers, Amber Kirchner, and cousin Elaina Ort (John).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday March 14, 2019 at 10 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church 181 Elizabeth St., Norwich, CT. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
