George Robert Pinder Jr.

George Robert Pinder Jr., 98, passed away Saturday February 4, 2023 at Mystic Healthcare.

He was born January 20, 1925 in Springfield, MA the son of George Robert and Irene (Goss) Pinder.

George was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. For many years he worked in aircraft engine manufacturing. He enjoyed the ocean, boats, automobiles and loved his dogs. After retiring he enjoyed being a member of the volunteer fire dept. and a school crossing guard. He was married to the late Rena Williams Pinder.    

He is survived by two sons David Pinder (Lynn) of Agawam, MA, Anthony Pinder (Cheryl) of Maine.

Calling hours will be Thursday February 9, 2023 from 4 to 6 PM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff St., Norwich, CT.
