Born in Kingston, NY passed away in his sleep in Norwich, Ct after falling ill. We almost lost him in 2015 from a massive heart attack. We were blessed another 5 years with him.
Son of David G and Evelyn M (Becotte) Shultis. He is survived by his wife Jessica, whom he married in 2018 and his step-daughter Mackenzie Anders who he thought of as his own. He is also survived by his parents, his son Travis Baker, his sister Terri (Shultis) Lawton and her husband Wayne, his nephew Kyle Shultis, niece Kayla Willis, his aunt Jeanne & Ray Chabotte, his aunt Elsie of California, aunt Debbie of NY, aunt Shannon, uncle John & Mike of Wisconsin. Loved by his best friend Mark Pimentel that David thought of as his brother. David worked at Gilman Brothers in Gilman, Ct for 20 years. David loved NASCAR, Baseball (NY) and Football (Cowboys).
David lived his life to the fullest before he had fallen ill. He was predeceased by his maternal me-mere Theresa Becotte, his paternal grandfather David Shultis and paternal grandmother Eleanor Willmann. He is also survived by several cousins. Especially Jennifer who was always around. He thought of her as his younger sister. David was a gentle giant and was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be truly missed. Our hearts are heavy.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 there will not be any calling hours. A memorial to celebrate David’s life will be held at a later date that’s to be determined.
