Catherine (Dunion) Morich

Catherine Dunion Morich passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 91.
Catherine was born on July17, 1931 in Norwich Connecticut, the sixth of eight children of William Dunion and Catherine Ryan Dunion. She was married to Paul Morich April 19th, 1949.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Paul, her beloved daughter Catherine Paula, mother and father, brothers Billy, Jake, Tommy, Joe and Pat Dunion, and sisters Peggy Dunion Eyberse and Ann Dunion Spillane. She is survived by her son Paul David Morich and numerous nieces and nephews.
Catherine was a kind, gentle woman who loved having her family around, whether at her sister Peggy’s for coffee or entertaining at Dunion family gatherings in her big back yard in Montville, or just summer drop-ins at her pool.
Catherine liked to play bingo and occasionally drop in at the casino. She liked to dance the polka with her husband Paul and everyone enjoyed her Polish cooking, especially her “glumpkies” (golobki).
Services will be on Wednesday August 3rd at 11:00 at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Norwich.
