Carol (Bean) Wininger

1931-2021

Norwich- Carol A. Wininger, of Norwich died at home with her family by her side. Carol was born on August 11, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ann (Kilroy) Bean. She married Robert M. Wininger of February 23, 1952, and they were inseparable until his passing in 2007.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carol enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family at her home in Norwich or at their summer home in Weekapaug, RI.

Carol is survived by her three children, daughters; Lisa Siderewicz and her husband Stephen; Kyle Wininger and her wife, Malia Sieve; son, Kasey Wininger. Grandchildren, Stephen Siderewicz, Jr. and his wife, Erika; Taylor and Dylan Wininger-Sieve. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Alexandra Siderewicz.

The family would like to thank Cougar Perry for the care and contentment she brought during Carol’s final months and also Katherine McCormick, her Hospice nurse, for the loving care and compassion she showed to Carol.
