Calvin Caron

Calvin Caron, 52, of Norwich, CT went home peacefully to be with our Lord, in the afternoon hours of January 7, 2024.

Calvin was born April 13, 1971 in Fort Kent, ME the son of Richard and Lillian (Plourde) Caron.

He worked most of this life as a construction worker. Calvin loved life and was funny, loud, very descriptive in his story telling, stubborn, had a great sense of humor, was sensitive and was always right. Most important Calvin had a heart bigger than a house. If someone needed help he was there for them. He wasn’t rich but he gave what he had.

Calvin loved nature, whether it was the woods or by the water, hanging out at the marina or swimming at Pachaug Pond. He was spiritual and was often caught doing the sign of the cross and talking to Jesus.

Calvin was predeceased by his father, nephew Todd Caron and great niece Angelie Caron.

He is survived by his mother, three sisters Sharon Caron, Lisa (Mark) Dubicki, Laurie (Andy) Soulor, two brothers Kevin (Michelle) Caron, Keith (Nina) Caron, two generations of nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, and hundreds of cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Services will be held Friday January 19, 2024 11 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church 181 Elizabeth St. Norwich, CT 06360.
