Norwich – Anna Rose Mageski, 93, passed away Sunday August 8, 2021 at Beechwood Rehab.

She was born October 13, 1927 in Norwich daughter of Maurice and Anna (Yerrington) Garvey.

She was employed at John Meyer of Norwich apparel manufacturer from which she retired and volunteered for 50 years at W. W. Backus Hospital Gift Shop.

Anna Rose was predeceased by her husband Alexander Mageski and her parents.

She is survived by two sons John Mageski (Susan), Bill Mageski (Cindy), daughter Kathy Mageski, brother Maurice Garvey Jr. (Nancy), niece Karen Mageski (Paul) as well as other loved family and friends.

A Calling Hour will be Saturday August 14, 2021 from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff Street Norwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM at St. Joseph Church 120 Cliff St, Norwich with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Norwich, CT.
