Adeline (Bonomi) Kutia

Norwich-Adeline Kutia, 97, of Norwich, died peacefully at William Backus Hospital on Friday, February 26, 2021. A lifelong resident of Norwich, she was the daughter of the late Aristide and Christine (Yeitz) Bonomi. Adeline was married to the love of her life, Michael Kutia, who predeceased her in 2014.

Adeline was employed as a factory worker for Artistic Wire and King Seely Thermos. She was devoted to her Catholic religion and was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary Church in Norwich, CT.

Above all, Adeline cherished her loving family.  Her Italian Sunday Dinners will truly be missed, but always remembered.

Adeline is survived by her sister, Mary Perras, of Norwich; son; John and wife Shirley of Norwich; daughter Nancy and her husband James Podurgiel of Preston; daughter-in-law Katherine Kutia of Bozrah; five grandchildren Jennifer Kutia, Richard Kutia, Samantha D’Anna, Susan Sawyer, Steven Podurgiel; and four great grandchildren, Josie, Anna, James and Timothy. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Kutia; son; Michael Kutia; brothers, William and Paul Bonomi; sister, Lorraine (Bonomi) Parkhurst.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass on Friday March 5, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 70 Central Ave., Norwich CT. 06360.  Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Place, 120 Cliff St. Norwich, CT. 06360.
