Rae Ann (Meier) Zercie

Norwich - Rae Ann Zercie, 71, of Arlington Heights passed away Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Three Rivers Health Care Center.

She was born August 5, 1946 in Norwich daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Dougherty) Meier. She was the wife of Vincent Joseph Zercie, whom she married on June 24, 1972.

For many years she worked as an elementary school teacher for the Montville Board of Ed.

Rae Ann is survived by her son, Andrew, and her daughter, Noreen. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Joseph, Amy Rae, Katharina, and Alexander, as well as many faithful friends.
Rae Ann is also survived by her sisters Mary Beth and Abby, and her brothers, Raymond and Richard. She was predeceased by her brother, James, and her sister, Sue Ellen.

Rae Ann will be remembered for her love and loyalty to her family and her devotion to her many friends.

Rae Ann’s family would like to thank all those who cared for her during her final months, including the staff members of Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center, DaVita Kidney Care, and Three Rivers Health Care Center.

A calling hour will be Friday April 20, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff Street Norwich, CT with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.
