Juanita O’Sullivan

Norwich – Juanita O’Sullivan – 86, of Lawler Lane passed away Friday April 13, 2018 at her home.

She was born June 9, 1931 in Fort Meade, Fl the daughter of Harry and Syble (Elmedia) Jones.

Juanita married Stephen J. O’Sullivan on September 18, 1954 in Waterbury. For many years she worked as a nurse at various hospitals and nursing homes.

She was predeceased by her husband Stephen J. O’Sullivan, her parents, brothers Carey, Arthur, Leon, Horace and sisters Gladys and Velma.

Juanita is survived by a daughter Shirley O’Sullivan of Southington, two sons John O’Sullivan of Norwich, Charles O’Sullivan of Norwich and two grandchildren Rose and husband Michael Eames and Jerold O’Sullivan and two great grandchildren Michael and Layla Eames.

A graveside service will be Friday April 20, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.

A special thank you to Rose, her grandchild, for her years of helping care for Juanita and to Nancy, her neighbor, for her watch over Juanita no matter what time at night it was. Also, a special thank you to Ann Marie from Visiting Angels for her work and taking care of Juanita.
