Norwich – Albert W. “Bud” Perody Jr., 96, – of Laurel Hill Ave. died Saturday January 6, 2018 at the Norwichtown Rehab.
He was born in Denton New York on August 31,1921, the son of Albert W. Perody Sr. and Ann (Skahill)Perody. He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas and sister in law June.
He was married for 31 years to his loving and devoted wife Mary. He is survived by three sons, Keith and Diana Thompson of North Stonington, Brett Thompson of Deep River and Scott and Nancy Thompson of Old Lyme. 5 nieces and their family and 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A special thank you goes out to the second shift staff at Norwichtown Rehab and to Hartford Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Norwichtown Rehab recreation department.
A visiting hour will be Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral 213 Broadway, Norwich. Burial will be private.
