Donna Mary Demars passed away peacefully on Thursday April 27, 2017 joining her husband Ronald Demars, of whom she was a widow for the last 27 years, in heaven.

Donna was a remarkable woman who defied the odds and conquered whatever came her way. She deeply loved her family and friends and her sense of selflessness was inspirational to many around her. Because Donna fought so hard, she was able to see her two greatest wishes get fulfilled: she was able to watch her son, Craig Demars get married to Amanda (Jones) Demars and was able to meet her granddaughter, Kaylee in December 2015.

Since then, Donna has had a glow in her eye, a love that was unlike any seen before as she watched Kaylee grow. Donna's greatest love in life was Kaylee...the pitter patter of Kaylee's feet, the smiles and joyous "Meme's" that Kaylee would say, comforted Donna as she left this world after having some of the best days of her life.

Donna is survived by her twin sister, Diana (Brosseau) Fournier and five sisters, 3 half-sisters, and one half brother. A celebration of life will take place May 13 from 3-6PM at St. Mary's Church in Baltic. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Donna asked that donations be made to the college fund she started for her beloved granddaughter, Kaylee. Mom, you BELIEVED until the end and you always kept the faith. May you continue to inspire all of us while you and Dad watch over us from heaven.
